  • $29.47 - $30.42 per hour + 9.5% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances

We’re seeking Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our Community Team in Charleville


Working alongside our Registered Nurses, you’ll provide person-centred, holistic nursing care to our community clients. Applying your clinical skills and knowledge to ensure a safe environment that truly enhances their quality of life - encompassing their physical, social and emotional needs.

 

Making a direct difference to your client's lives, you’ll support the team to deliver outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvements, centred on their health and wellbeing, including: 

  • Documenting and updating care plans in line with emerging assessments
  • Medication and wound management
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living and recreational activities
  • Helping clients to participate in the community by providing social support
  • Providing assistance to other care staff and health professionals

What you’ll need

You’ll be an experienced enrolled nurse, confident in managing your time effectively and working autonomously, demonstrating:

  • Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
  • Medication endorsement
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in residential based care services
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain

Supporting our clients in the best way possible is important to us. To be employed by Blue Care, you will be required to complete the free NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement and provide a copy of your certificate on completion.

Selection Criteria Desirable: Do you hold a current Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate to practice in the State where employed? i.e. AHPRA registration
Desirable: Do you hold a current Australian Driver’s License and have access to a road worthy vehicle?
Desirable: Because you will be working in the community, you’ll spend a large portion of your day on the road, travelling between client homes to deliver support. Is this something you’re aware of and would be comfortable with?
Desirable: Do you have broad general nursing experience and demonstrated skills reflective of clinical experience?
Desirable: Can you demonstrate effective use of digital technology and devices such as smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers and proficiency in software applications?
Desirable: Because you will be working with vulnerable people in the community, it is preferable that you have an up to date influenza vaccination. Can you supply evidence of this?
Desirable: If you are successful for this role, you may be required to undergo a series of pre-employment checks; that may include your Right to Work in Australia, Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and a Health Screening Questionnaire. Do you consent to this?
